Environmental inspector "look back": Jiangsu and other 10 provinces and districts fined 710 million
The reporter learned from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment that, starting today, the first batch of central environmental protection inspectors - ldquo; looking back - rdquo; each inspecting group will feedback - ldquo to the relevant 10 provinces (regions); looking back - rdquo; and special inspecting opinions. According to the latest data, more than 37,000 reports of people's ecological and environmental problems received by the inspection team have been basically completed, with a fine of 710 million yuan and 610 administrative and criminal detainees.
From May 30 to July 7, 2018, six central environmental protection supervision groups carried out the Central Environmental Protection Supervision & ldquo in 10 provinces (regions) including Hebei, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan, respectively; looking back & rdquo; and arranging special environmental protection supervision in related fields simultaneously.
In this batch of Central Environmental inspector &ldquo, look back at ” in the process, the inspection team persists in problem orientation. Focusing on the rectification of the first round of supervisory feedback, focusing on the problem of inadequate rectification, we should strictly investigate and deal with a number of formalism and bureaucracy problems in the field of ecological environment protection, such as perfunctory rectification, surface rectification and pretend rectification.
According to the latest data, 37640 mass reports on ecological and environmental problems received by the inspection team have been basically completed, with a total of 28 407 orders for rectification, 7375 cases for filing and punishment, and a fine of 710 million yuan; 543 cases for filing and investigation, 610 administrative and criminal detentions; and 3695 persons for interviews and 6219 persons for accountability. It promoted the solution of more than 30 thousand environmental problems around the masses.
In addition, in this batch of central environmental protection inspectors & ldquo; looking back & rdquo; the inspector group resolutely prohibits & ldquo; one-size-fits-all & rdquo;. In view of the supervision and rectification, we have formulated the prohibition of environmental protection-ldquo; one-size-fits-all-rdquo; work opinions, strictly prohibition-ldquo; shutdown-all-rdquo; & ldquo; stop-then-say-rdquo; wait for perfunctory coping practices, to-ldquo; look back on-rdquo; found-ldquo; one-size-fits-all-rdquo; resolutely investigate and deal with the problem.
It is understood that on October 16, the fourth environmental protection supervision group of the Central Committee will give feedback to Jiangxi Province --- ldquo; look back at --- rdquo; supervision situation, and then the supervision group will give feedback to the other nine provinces (regions) one after another. The main contents of the supervision opinions will be made public to the society at the same time.
